1、巧用音標(biāo)記單詞
讀音不準(zhǔn)或錯(cuò)誤，記生詞就只能靠死記硬背，花了很多時(shí)間但收效甚微，而這也往往是造成拼寫(xiě)錯(cuò)誤的主要原因。如果同學(xué)能掌握最基本的讀音規(guī)則，將大大有助于單詞的記憶。如懂得了字母組合ee讀[i：]，ar讀[a：]以后，就不會(huì)把jeep誤拼為jep，把 dark誤拼成derk。
2、結(jié)合句子記單詞
記憶單詞時(shí)要做到詞不離句、句不離文。如果我們只是孤立地讀一些意義不連貫的單詞，不僅會(huì)覺(jué)得單調(diào)刻板，且易疲勞生厭，而疲勞和缺乏興趣，就會(huì)極大地影響記憶的效果。因?yàn)樵S多單詞的意義是無(wú)法孤立地想象出來(lái)的，如usually，這時(shí)我們最好舉些可以展開(kāi)想象和產(chǎn)生感觸的例子去體會(huì)其意。
3、科學(xué)用腦記單詞
“遺忘”是我們學(xué)習(xí)的大敵。而“學(xué)得快，忘得快”恰是外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的特點(diǎn)。初次記憶單詞需要的時(shí)間要比復(fù)習(xí)舊詞需要的時(shí)間多一些，所以必須“趁熱打鐵”，及時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)，防止遺忘。最好能在學(xué)習(xí)新單詞后幾個(gè)小時(shí)內(nèi)就復(fù)習(xí)一遍，至少也應(yīng)該當(dāng)天復(fù)習(xí)一遍。因此，按科學(xué)的規(guī)律，當(dāng)天學(xué)習(xí)的單詞，當(dāng)天就要及時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)。以后則在第2、4、8 、16……天分別復(fù)習(xí)一次(每次一遍即可)，不久就能達(dá)到牢記不忘，收到事半功倍之效。
